My friend has her period. Her boyfriend invited her to a pool party and she doesn't know what she should do. Should she get into the pool? She and I don't know much about periods except that they come once a month.

Here's some helpful information for you about your body and menstruation.

It's fine for her to swim while she has her period if she feels like it and if she's wearing a tampon. She shouldn't go in the pool if she's unprotected or just wearing a pad. Not a good idea!
