Make it
Write
Soul of
War
by Matthew Romero, 16
I weep for joy that I have no
reason to weep
Cries of despair are not mine to scream tonight,
In the mass graves of the mine-infested land, an intruder
lies,
A look of suprise forever melted into a crushed skull
That is not mine to recognize
I am not a man whose welcoming party
has been shattered to pieces
By a final gathering,
The cycle never ends...
For us fanatics of peace...
Who send our souls to fight wars
