Dear Emotionally Unfit,

It sounds like there's a part of you that doesn't feel ready to have a girlfriend. That may be why you continually find ways to "screw up" relationships and get yourself out of them.

I suggest you give the bf/gf thing a break and use the time off to find out more about the way you handle anger. It might be a good idea to talk to your school counselor about this. Some guys who have trouble dealing with rage and anger become abusive to the women in their lives. You don't want that to happen, so you need to learn some more constructive ways to deal with anger when it comes up for you.
