Dear Lost, Why would you continue to like someone who acts like you're an "unimportant speck of dust"?! I mean, the way I see it, you're a good guy and if this girl doesn't appreciate what a great boyfriend you'd be, then that's a missed opportunity for her, not for you. I'd say that you've done what's reasonable to get her attention... You've talked to her (politely, I hope). And if her response is to not treat you with the respect you deserve, then I'd say, let this one go. You see, the "perfect" girl for you wants to be with you as much as you want to be with her.
